“MCS Coca-Cola” Company has been implementing the “Sugar Reduction Program” since 2018 with the aim of providing consumers with more choices.
Within the framework of this program, which aims to increase low-calorie beverage options, the sugar content of 9 beverages out of a total of 46 flavors has been reduced. As a result, 63% of the total products are now zero-calorie or low-sugar products.
Most recently, the sugar content of Minute Maid Punch apple drink has been reduced (the sugar content per 100 g of product decreased from 9.7 g to 7.4 g, a 24% reduction). The company will continue this project and plans to reduce the sugar content of 1–2 beverages each year going forward.
