Leading global companies regularly initiate and implement projects that contribute to environmental protection, social well-being, and the welfare of future generations, and transparently report on their progress to the public. Following this practice, MCS Coca-Cola LLC has compiled the initiatives and achievements it accomplished in 2025 into its 2025 Sustainability Report, which is now publicly available.
WATER REUSE
One of the company’s key sustainability initiatives in 2025 was the implementation of Mongolia’s first public-private partnership project to reuse treated industrial wastewater for the technological operations of Amgalan Thermal Power Plant. MCS Coca-Cola invested MNT 3.5 billion of its own funds to install additional equipment and the necessary pipeline infrastructure for the project.
As a result of this public-private partnership, the company’s treated industrial wastewater reuse rate has increased to 45%.
PACKAGING
In 2022, MCS Coca-Cola publicly announced its goal of collecting the equivalent of 100% of the packaging it sells and recycling 50% of it. Since then, the company has reported its annual plastic collection performance by comparing the volume of plastic bottles collected with the volume of products sold during the same year. In 2025, its plastic collection rate reached 50.2%.
One of the company’s major initiatives during the reporting year was the “Recycle Me” Interactive Hub, a mobile educational center designed to raise public awareness about the importance of plastic recycling. Through visits to 10 different locations, the hub provided educational experiences to more than 60,000 people.
CLIMATE
To reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize its environmental impact, the company introduced environmentally friendly technologies into its operations, including low-emission boilers, energy-efficient coolers, electric forklifts, and electric delivery vehicles.
SOCIETY
MCS Coca-Cola is committed to promoting work-life balance, mental well-being, and the overall welfare of its employees. The company also actively supports women’s leadership at all levels of management.
